Apiary Projects is a media production company based in Traverse City, Michigan. We produce documentary and commercial videos, writing for film, tv and radio and offer media production consultation services. Apiary was founded by Andrea Claire Maio in association with Jeffrey Thomas Morgan. Andrea is an alumna of Interlochen Arts Academy, University of Michigan, and has her MFA in filmmaking from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. She has taught numerous workshops on non-fiction story telling and has worked on internationally acclaimed feature documentaries. Her work has been featured at film festivals and on International Public Radio’s This American Life. Jeff is a Northern Michigan native and a graduate of Northern Michigan University who has worked for National Geographic, PBS, AOL, GMC, and the Discovery Channel, among other media companies.
